Involve Technology works with every customer to help ensure a successful implementation and quick ROI. Our implementation process enables customers of StreetSmarts to be up and running in 30 days or less by following five steps:
PlanningAn Involve Technology implementation specialist along with a customer project lead assesses the requirements of the StreetSmarts project, formulates solutions, creates a timeline, identifies user groups and content approach.
ConfigurationAlong with the customer project lead, Involve Technology helps to adjust business rules, define functional groups, outline categories of content, define security, outline points and more to fulfill that customer's specific needs. Establish/Import ContentIn partnership with the customer, Involve personnel assist in defining and gathering initial content for the StreetSmarts site. Involve Technology provides a service to accumulate desired best sales practices right from the start. Additionally automatic routines run that crawl intranet sites and document repositories to reference existing materials. Train and release to Initial UsersTraining is held for the initial users of the system including subject matter experts and approvers. These users start answering questions and entering other important content. Full RolloutLastly the system is rolled out to the user community. Surveys and other metrics are gathered along the way to ensure that StreetSmarts is fulfilling the customer's needs. HostingStreetSmarts is an on-demand solution and as such provides an easy way to get started, ease of implementation and reduced cost for our customers. This means we can give you a best-of-breed business application that can be up and running in days with virtually no requirements of your internal resources. StreetSmarts is hosted at a world-class facility in Reston Virginia. This means:
Hosting Partner:SAVVIS gives us the ability to say we guarantee the reliability of StreetSmarts. SAVVIS (formerly Cable & Wireless) is a tier 1 hosting facility employing state of the art performance and security technologies. The database and associated services are protected through IPSec, allowing only specific IP addresses to access code database functionality. At the application layer, IS and passwords are required to access any area of the system, other than the login page. Security — The SAVVIS facility is a physically secured building and is only accessible by authorized personel. If our customers choose, encrypted browsing through https can be established for an additional charge. Back-up — All back-ups of customer data will be maintained in a secure location during the period that customer is receiving services. Routine data back-ups are done every 48 hours without requiring system downtime. All data is backed up on an ongoing basis by SAVVIS and emergency recovery plans are in place should they be necessary. Uptime — We offer 24/7 monitoring with system availability of 99% during any quarterly period, excluding scheduled downtime for routine maintenance. Involve will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 48 hours notice (via email), to the customer, of upcoming scheduled downtime. Blade Servers - The StreetSmarts application is hosted on Egenera Bladeframe System servers. The BladeFrame System combines the utility of stateless servers with powerful software that virtualizes processing, storage and networking resources into a "computing fabric." Now, businesses can provision systems and allocate resources in minutes—not days, weeks or months—to optimize mission-critical applications in real time. |
